The Empire Theatre is located at 321 Front Street in historic downtown Belleville, ON. Our facility is fully accessible with a parking lot adjacent to the theatre.
Monday through Friday, 11 am to 4 pm.
Closed Saturday and Sunday, statutory and civic holidays.
For shows scheduled on Saturday or Sunday, the box office will be open 2 hours prior.
One hour into the lobby. One half hour into seating.
All sales are final. Refunds and exchanges are not permitted. All patrons are asked to be attentive of their purchases.
Only if a show is cancelled, will a refund be issued.
Tickets will be honoured for the new date.
Yes. The Empire has accessible seating available. To book accessible seating call the box office at 613-969-0099 ext. 1.
There is a chair lift to take patrons to the main orchestra level, where the seating is located.
A service animal is allowed, providing the proper visual indicators (vest, harness or ID tag) are present or if proper AODA documentation is presented.
Age restrictions for each show are based on content and suitability. Certain shows may set an age limit.
Parents will be encouraged to use discretion when bringing a child to any performance.
Babes-in-arms: a child under the age of 12 months does not require a ticket, but must remain in the parent’s lap. Children 12 months and up: a ticket is required.
Gift certificates for the Empire Theatre are available in person at the box office (321 Front St, Belleville) or by phone (613-969-0099 ext. 1) during box office hours.
They can only be used in person at the Empire box office.
Yes. The concession is located in the main lobby and is open for live events and movies. No outside food or drink is permitted.
There are two bars - the McCarthy, located on the main lobby level and the Marquee, located on the balcony level. Bars are open during live performances.
The Empire has a liquor license issued under AGCO.
Alcohol will be served to those 19 years and up, proof of age of majority may be required.
Alcohol is not permitted outside the theatre.
Any person appearing to be intoxicated prior to entering the venue may be denied entry. Any guest found intoxicated within the venue or causing a disturbance, as determined by security or management will be asked to leave and not permitted to return to the venue.
Debit and credit cards. Empire Theatre issued gift certificates can be used, in person, for ticket purchases.
Arrive ahead of show time: get to your seat before the show starts so you do not block views or disturb others.
Silence your phone: power down or silence phones and devices to avoid unexpected lights or sounds.
Be respectful: treat fellow patrons, ushers, and venue staff with courtesy, using zero abusive language or gestures.
Photography/video recording: during a live performance, unauthorized use of cameras, smartphones, or recording devices of any kind is not permitted, due to copyright and artist rules.
